Marsh Farm Outreach are a grassroots community group made up of 12 long term residents living on the Marsh Farm Estate in Luton. The team of volunteers works to build and promote economic development and regeneration practices which are of genuine benefit to the people living in the community. Their activities include; the development of community businesses and other not for private profit enterprises to improve the local economy, reduce unemployment in the estate and reduce dependence on service providers; the design of innovative and relevant community engagement techniques to ensure the voices of people are heard and acted upon rather than ignored or marginalised; and the organisation of community festivals, music and arts events, discussions, campaigns
